Kitsune Books staff has a “horsey” Thanksgiving

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

The editor of Kitsune Books spent a wonderful Thanksgiving day out at Black Bay Farm, with poet Pete LeForge (The Secret Life of Moles, Getting a Good Read) and USDF Bronze Medalist/author Sara Warner (Down to the Waterline). As Pete likes to say, horses are “godly” creatures totally worthy of our worship. Watching these amazing animals in the practice ring and in the pasture, we couldn’t agree more.
What a beautiful setting for traditional turkey dinner with cider, dressing, cranberry muffins, mincemeat pie, and way too much vino! Homegrown guitar, mandolin, and banjo music on the front porch - a completely memorable Thanksgiving day!
Go here www.blackbayfarm.com to see all the beautiful equine inhabitants of Black Bay Farm.
