ABOUT KITSUNE BOOKS
Kitsune Books was founded in 2006 to make available to the reading public an eclectic variety of artistic, well-written books that are slightly off the beaten path. We publish literary fiction, nonfiction literary commentary, memoir, and poetry. Please see the Submission guidelines for details.
The founders and volunteer staff have academic degrees in English Literature, Journalism, and Education, and have decades of experience in the fields of writing, editing, and publishing. Some of us are published, some are not, but we all share a love of books (and most of us need a twelve-step program to deal with our book-collecting habits).
What we are not: Kitsune books is not a vanity press, subsidy press, self-publisher, printing company, literary agency, or publicity agency. We are a traditional advance/royalty publisher and offer standard publishing contracts to authors whose works we are willing to take a chance on.
Our regional distributor is Bella Distribution, located in Tallahassee, FL.
Recent books are available wholesale from Ingram USA and UK.
